Dua Lipa Drops Another Social Media Teaser, Hinting at Upcoming Music Release

The musician posted a video of herself with a key in her mouth while a short segment of a new track played in the background. The caption “I’m not here for long” was attached to the video, which may indicate that her previous teaser, posted on October 27th, was taken down shortly after being uploaded. Interestingly, the previous post was accompanied by the caption “catch me before I go.”

Not long ago, speculations arose among fans that the ‘One Kiss’ singer might be embarking on a new chapter after she cleared her Instagram feed and changed her profile picture.

Fans have been eagerly awaiting the release of the singer’s next album, which follows her popular 2020 record, ‘Future Nostalgia’. The artist had previously hinted that the album was 50% complete in a conversation with Elton John last March, but later retracted the statement in December, stating that she did not feel as far along in the process as she initially believed.

During an interview with New York Times Magazine in August, it was disclosed that the album is set to be launched in 2024. According to the profile, Kevin Parker from Tame Impala might have contributed to the creation of the album. Although she denied the rumors, Lipa’s response strongly implied the possibility of a collaboration.

The artist stated last year that her upcoming third album will take a different turn compared to her previous albums. She mentioned that the new album still belongs to the pop genre but it has a different sound and it is more focused on a lyrical theme. The singer teased that if she revealed the title, it would make sense, but fans will have to wait for the big reveal. Her collaborator on the hit song “Barbie,” Mark Ronson, also shared his excitement for the album, stating that he has listened to some of the tracks and it is simply incredible.
