At the American Museum Of Natural History Gala in Manhattan on Thursday, Scarlett Johansson was caught gazing lovingly at her husband Colin Jost. The SNL co-head writer and the former child star have been married for three years now, after dating since May 2017 when she hosted the NBC sketch show for the fifth time. The couple seemed thrilled to have a glamorous night out without their two-year-old son Cosmo and her nine-year-old daughter Rose from her previous marriage with Romain Dauriac, which ended in September 2017. Scarlett wore a black silk cocktail dress that accentuated her cleavage, with matching clutch and pumps, along with a white maxi-coat selected by her stylist Kate Young. Her hair was styled by hairstylist David von Cannon into a piecy updo, and make-up artist Frankie Boyd applied her bright red lipstick.

Last month, the 41-year-old SNL co-head writer and his wife, a 39-year-old former child star, celebrated their third wedding anniversary. They first started dating in May 2017 after she hosted the NBC sketch show for the fifth time. At a black-tie event, Colin looked sharp in a classic tuxedo while the couple was photobombed by one of his SNL colleagues, Mikey Day. Currently, Jost stars in the Audible Original catfishing comedy Trust Fall as sad corporate loafer Trent Brockett. The podcast production also features other SNL cast members and famous personalities. Jost is also preparing for this Saturday’s episode of SNL, where he will anchor the Weekend Update alongside musical guest Noah Kahan and host Emma Stone. Scarlett, on the other hand, has three upcoming films in the works. Though the SAG/AFTRA and WGA strikes have ended, it’s still an adjustment for the couple due to the crazy schedule of the show. However, they are excited to see their SNL family as they need them now more than ever.
Scarlett and Colin appeared delighted to have a fancy night out, just the two of them. They didn’t bring along their little boy Cosmo, who is two years old, or her daughter Rose from her previous marriage to Romain Dauriac, which ended in September 2017.
Johansson was seen sporting an elegant black silk cocktail dress that accentuated her ample cleavage. She paired it with matching pumps and clutch, completing the look with a white maxi-coat handpicked by her stylist Kate Young.
David von Cannon, a skilled hairstylist, created a unique piecy updo for the famous Hollywood actress who has been nominated twice for the Academy Award. Meanwhile, the talented make-up artist, Frankie Boyd, applied a bright red lip color to complete her stunning look.
In the meantime, Jost appeared dapper at the formal occasion wearing a timeless tuxedo. It’s worth noting that Jost had a distinguished academic background, having graduated with honors from Harvard University in 2004.
While the New York locals were posing for a picture, they were unexpectedly greeted by Mikey Day (R), a fellow cast member of Saturday Night Live and a 14-time Emmy nominee, who decided to photobomb them.
Presently, Colin plays the role of Trent Brockett, a disheartened executive who does nothing all day but laze around in the workplace. He acts alongside Wanda Sykes in Trust Fall, a new Audible Original comedy about catfishing. The show was released on Thursday.
This upcoming episode of Saturday Night Live will be hosted by the talented Emma Stone, who has appeared on the show for the fifth time. Weekend Update anchor Jost is in charge of overseeing the production, which will also feature a musical performance by Noah Kahan.
Last month, Scarlett shared with ET about the conclusion of the SAG/AFTRA and WGA strikes. She mentioned that it brought changes in their household, especially with the unpredictable schedule of SNL. However, she expressed how thrilled she is to see the SNL crew since they are amazing and much needed during these times.
Johansson is set to star in three exciting movies. These include the prequel Transformers One, an animated film directed by Josh Cooley, Project Artemis, a space race drama by Jason Bateman for Apple TV+, and My Mother’s Wedding, a feature film directed by Kristin Scott Thomas.
